The Group Information Services Department, located in Hunghom, strives to serve the information technology needs of Head Office and is responsible for coordinating the related services within the CK Hutchison Group.

Our salary paid summer internship will provide a valuable opportunity for undergraduate students, who are passionate about the information technology industry, to participate in a selection of interesting projects in the real business world.

Responsibilities:

Depending on your interests and competencies, successful applicants will assist our experienced teams in one of the following areas:

Infrastructure & Operations Team:

Maintain and update the IT infrastructure and network portal to highlight the latest technology trends

Set up and enrol users for new IT community initiatives

Customer Services Team (Helpdesk):

Windows 11 24H2 update for the Head Office

Assist in the execution of the Windows 11 24H2 rollout

Research and test new features of Windows Copilot in the Windows 11 24H2

Teams Voice for the GISD Office

Contribute to the POC and production implementation of Teams Voice service

Assist in user training on the new Teams Voice System to ensure a smooth transition and effective use

Requirements:

University students in the 2nd or 3rd year of study, preferably majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or related disciplines

Solid PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Demonstrate interests or knowledge in programming, cybersecurity or technology trends

Proactive and tech-savvy 

A self-initiated achiever with positive learning attitudes, flexibility and adaptability

A team player with effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment 

High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
