6. Online Job Applications & Profile Privacy Settings
Job Seekers may apply for job postings directly through the Website at no cost. To enable Job Offerors to contact you, certain fields (e.g., name, email, phone number) are mandatory and subject to the Job Offeror’s requirements.

GoWin Tech offers two privacy settings for Job Seeker profiles:

Limited Visibility: Job Offerors can view your profile (excluding name, contact details, and CV). They may send job invitations via the “Send Job Ad” function, but cannot purchase or access your full profile.
Private: Your full profile (including name, contact info, and CV) is hidden. If a Job Offeror uses the “Buy Profile” feature to request access, you will receive a notification and may approve, reject, or ignore the request.

Once you approve a request, reply to a job invitation, or apply for a job using your profile, the relevant Job Offeror will gain access to your current profile and contact information (as updated by you).

You may update, edit, or change your privacy settings and CV at any time via your “My Account” dashboard.

While GoWin Tech educates Job Offerors on their legal obligations under the PDPO regarding the use of personal data, we are not liable for any misuse of your data by third-party Job Offerors.

7. Your Rights: Access and Correction
Under the PDPO, you have the right to:

Request access to your personal data held by GoWin Tech;
Request correction of inaccurate data.

You may exercise these rights by:

Logging into your “個人資料” section to update your information directly; or
Contacting our Data Protection Officer (details below).

For security purposes, we may require verification of your identity (e.g., via government-issued ID) before processing your request. Note that certain data (e.g., HKID or passport number) can only be corrected if proven inaccurate.

8. Links to Third-Party Platforms
The Website may link to external websites, social media platforms, or mobile applications not controlled by GoWin Tech. If you access the Website via a social media account (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook), you consent to GoWin Tech receiving basic profile information from that platform for service and marketing purposes, in accordance with this Policy.

This Policy applies only to the Website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. Please review their policies before sharing personal information.
