Part-time Technical Assistant (Project no: R6661) (B&A) (25001AM)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly assist the research team in the research project “Investigating the role of information processing strategies relevant to greenhouse gas labels in the context of intra-destination tourist mobility” (R6661). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Providing support in research participant recruitment, and data collection;

• Collecting field data with surveys on tourists’ mobility preferences;

• Providing assistance in a broad range of administrative duties; and

• Conducting other ad-hoc research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• High school graduate/DSE or above;

• Current undergraduate student in tourism, business administration, management, social science, or a related discipline;

• Excellent command of spoken and written English; and

• Detail-oriented, hardworking, organized, responsible, self-motivated, and able to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
