

JOB DESCRIPTION
JPMorgan Asset Management ("JPMAM") provides investment management products and services to institutional and individual investors worldwide, it offers the full spectrum of investment strategies - from equity, cash management, fixed income, currency and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds.
APAC Product Strategy & Development team forms part of the JPMAM business - the team is responsible for the design, development, and management of JPMAM’s product range to drive the firm’s strategic growth agenda. To shape and position the product range, the team provides comprehensive research on product trends, thought leadership and competitive differentiation of JPMAM’s investment capabilities.
As a Product Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the team in managing and positioning JPMAM’s product suite distributed across APAC markets, focusing on competitive intelligence and industry trends. You will collaborate regionally with distribution teams, portfolio managers and marketing to provide competitive intelligence and data, and globally with the rest of the Global Product Strategy and Development team on high-impact projects and initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support on research and analyses around J.P. Morgan product range, competitor products, and industry trends
- Assist in the delivery of regular publication and analyses on JPMAM product line and competitive landscape
- Conduct product updates/positioning calls both internally and externally
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders (distribution, investment, marketing, etc.)
- Participate in product innovation and rationalization efforts
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstratable interest and / or experience in financial markets / Asset Management
- Comfort in processing and analysing large data sets, with great attention to details
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment, managing different stakeholders and timelines
- Strong, logical communicator both in compiling presentation decks and verbally
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Working towards CFA and/or CAIA preferred
- Coding experience (e.g. Excel VBA, Python) preferred
- Proficiency in Morningstar Direct, eVestment Analytics and WIND will be a plus
- Demonstratable consulting soft skills (deck building, stakeholder management, time management, etc.) can be considered in lieu of financial markets experiencev
