Assistant Manager, Individual Giving (M+)

You will be responsible for:

supporting the Manager, Patronage and Philanthropy (M+) to implement the fundraising strategies for major giving and patronage.

working closely with the Manager, Patronage and Philanthropy (M+) in maintaining great relationships with existing donors, patrons and other key stakeholders through active communications and engagement events and activities;

You should:

possess a recognised university degree in any disciplines;

have at least 5 years of working experience in sponsorship and development with focus on fund raising and managing individuals with affluence or high social status. Experience in arts and culture organizations is a plus;

demonstrate knowledge about the fundraising cycle and possess business acumen. Knowledge and interest in contemporary art or the art business are an advantage;

possess exceptional Chinese and English written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Cantonese speaking is not a must;

Membership Officer

developing marketing and communication materials for membership, including writing content and coordinating design and printing;

collaborating with internal teams to executive projects aimed at enhancing the membership experience and engagement. This includes coordinating eDM and marketing campaigns to promote M+ membership and revenue driving initiatives;

assisting and coordinating membership events to drive member retention & engagement;

involving in the development and maintenance of the M+ and WKCD websites to ensure they are kept up to date;

Venue Operations Coordinator

You will be responsible for:
- Plan and ensure smooth running for Performing Arts events
- Coordinate across internal departments for all Performing Arts events
- Liaise with event materials vendors including vendor sourcing, materials delivery and setup
- Manage and plan for signage and guest flow support for all Performing Arts events
- Manage and communicate with event helpers
- Monitor event budget, pay invoices and report expenses
- Manage administrative duties including consolidation of event overview, event scheduling, meeting documents and presentation materials; and

Assistant Curator
he Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) is a dedicated museum that showcases the exquisite artefacts from Palace Museum’s collections and collaborates with other museums in research, exhibitions, education and public programmes. The museum comprises 7 800 square metres of gallery space for standing and special exhibitions on Palace Museum’s collections of paintings, calligraphy, antiquities and historical objects, as well as thematic displays on world cultures and civilisations.
You will be responsible for:
- assisting in researching, developing and implementing exhibitions and public programmes to create awareness from the local, regional and global attention to the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM);
- assisting in content development and conduct academic research for preparation of write-ups for museum exhibitions, publications and other public programmes;

Theatre Technician

- actively contributing to the efficient running and maintenance of the Technical and Production Team’s (AV/IT; Audio; Stage) work;

- supporting the Technical and Productions Team in the effective running and management of the Performing Arts technical – (AV/IT; Audio; Stage) operations; that of other WKCDA venues and productions as required by WKCDA or visiting companies;

You should:
- possess at least 5 subjects at Level 2/ Grade E or above in the HKDSE/ HKCEE or equivalent academic qualification, and have a minimum of 1 year of technical experience in theatre, and experience in the operation and maintenance of theatrical equipment and theatre infrastructure, OR possess at least an accredited diploma or certificate in Technical Arts or equivalent technical qualification from a recognised tertiary education;

M+ Internship Programme 2025/2026 – Collection and Exhibition

The M+ Internship Programme is a unique opportunity for those who are interested in developing a career in the museum field. The Collection & Exhibition Internship offers exposure and training in a variety of collection care and object management activities across teams within the Collection & Exhibition Department. The role affords the unique experience of working closely with collection objects in collaboration with museum staff, while learning the importance of object documentation as carried out by different museum teams. Supported by the Head, Collection, Archives and Library, as the mentor, the intern will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Registration teams (Collection and Loans & Exhibitions), the Rights & Images, Collection Information and Archives & Library teams.

- possess a recognised university degree in Languages, Literature, Art History, History, Journalism, or other relevant disciplines;
- have at least 3 years of experience in publication or editing related to art or culture, possess InDesign and typesetting skill is a plus;
- have solid editing experience in creating innovative and solid publications for the general public in English or Chinese in the arts and cultural fields, English language editorial and translation skills is highly preferrable;
- have experience in collaborating with different internal and external stakeholders and conducting research, checking and verifying facts;
- demonstrate good editing or copywriting skills, attentive to details and can-do attitude;
- be creative, mature, independent and a problem solver;
- have good understanding of project and budget management; and
- be proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Assistant Manager, Venue Planning (Performing Arts)
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting the planning and preparation works for the opening of a new performing arts venue that is under construction:
- Review architectural plans, shop drawings, and other related materials for Theatre Front of House (FOH) facilities from a user centered perspective.
- Develop Furniture, Fixture/Equipment (FF&E), Manpower & Recruitment and Operation Guidelines and procedures. - Coordinating across departments to address logistical issues for performing arts venue operations:
- Coordinate meetings, prepare markups or notes, and liase with major business units to address any design or construction concerns related to Theatre FOH and user experience. - Handling procurement:
- Source Theatre FOH operations equipment, tools, and services, and assist in the procurement process and delivery coordination. - Liaise with and supervise service contractors and vendors to ensure quality of work and adherence to guidelines and policies.
- Assist to prepare financial & budget per company business plan & corporate plan.
- Assist in the handover and takeover processes with relevant departments and major business units when the performing art venue transitions from the construction phrase to the Test & Commissioning phrase.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments and pre-opening activities as requested.
You should:
- possess a recognized university degree in performing arts, hospitality or property management equivalent.
- have 6 years of relevant experience in performing venues/hospitality or property management sectors, which at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
- occasional need to conduct work on construction site.
- have good knowledge of Theatre Front of House management or any guest-service oriented operations.
- possess good organizational skills.
- be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Knowledge in local regulatory and legal requirement will be an advantage.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; AutoCAD & Adobe Illustrator Photoshop skills are plus.
- on need basis to work shift duty during critical milestone periods.
