(This is a fixed-term contract position of 6-Month with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
You will be responsible for:
- Plan and ensure smooth running for Performing Arts events
- Coordinate across internal departments for all Performing Arts events
- Liaise with event materials vendors including vendor sourcing, materials delivery and setup
- Manage and plan for signage and guest flow support for all Performing Arts events
- Manage and communicate with event helpers
- Monitor event budget, pay invoices and report expenses
- Manage administrative duties including consolidation of event overview, event scheduling, meeting documents and presentation materials; and
- Perform additional assignments as requested by supervisor
You should:
- Tertiary education or above
- Experience in event management, hospitality, tourism, performing arts, art and cultural functions
- Good knowledge of event and front-of-house operation
- Customer service mentality
- possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powepoint and Outlook
- Good oral and written communication skills in Cantonese, Putonghua and English
- Good organizational skills and analytic senses
- Able to work in outdoor environment; and
- be required to work on shift according to the duty roster assigned including weekends and public holidays
