The role:

We’ll trust you to:

  •  Work closely with technical and market data contacts at client firms to help resolve and prevent issues that may impact their businesses
  •  Handle escalations to internal Bloomberg groups such as Network Operations, Global Data, Data Feed teams, Implementation and Engineering
  •  Take ownership of questions and technical issues reported by clients and provide direct support using telephone, ticket systems & email, and in person when feasible
  •  Actively troubleshoot to recreate reported customer issues on internal, client simulated and test system environments OR by carrying out diagnostic work on the clients' own test/UAT systems
  •  Identify opportunities to implement and drive adoption of self-service solutions to meet client needs

You’ll need to have:

The Content Acquisition team (CA) is an integral part of the Data department. We are responsible for partnering with the most critical content providers across the market data industry to acquire content that enables our customers to make fast and thoughtful investment decisions.

Within CA, our Content Relationship Managers lead the hunting, negotiation, and acquisition of Pricing, Reference, and Alternative data. We collaborate with the wider company to develop our data acquisition strategies, ensuring we are aligning with the agendas of our key partners.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Pricing Content Relationship Management team based in the Singapore/Hong Kong office. You will be responsible for managing the Strategy and Relationships with our data content partners across APAC, to acquire and manage Commodities & Energy pricing, to expand coverage and improve quality of our data, through building strong partnerships with key stakeholders across different functions - including Senior/Heads of departments spanning across Trading, Sales, Business Managers, E-commerce, Desk Support, and In-house Market Data Specialists.

Last but not least, you will work closely with Bloomberg internal stakeholders to ensure that the pricing is fast, reliable, and accessible across the platform; and collaborate on go-to-market strategies, while always being seeking new opportunities to enrich our data content.

We'll trust you to:

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with content partners in your assigned coverage
  • Prospect proactively, while also maintaining existing relationships with key data contributors to identify and onboard strategic datasets and uncover growth opportunities like increasing market transparency for our content partners
  • Become a true subject matter expert in commodities pricing by demonstrating your understanding of the datasets and market conditions, and by acting as a trusted adviser to your network internally and externally
  • Protect the quality of our product by proactively reviewing the depth, timeliness and accuracy of datasets provided by our content partners
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities within our coverage, and identify opportunities to design and develop more robust data acquisition strategies
  • Secure commitment or negotiate favorable terms (usage rights, costs) and new commercial models for contributed data. This includes ensuring content is fit for purpose, meets our data stakeholders’ needs, is in line with technical architecture and historical precedent
  • Manage and streamline our commercial partnership models, including renegotiating terms with existing content partners

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum 4 years of recent Sales and Relationship Management experience in the financial services industry, including exchanges, market data providers or financial institutions
  • Demonstrated experience in Commodities and Energy products including any of the following: Power / Oil & Gas, Metals, Agriculture, Carbon & Renewables
  • Business proficiency in Mandarin, as the data content will primarily be in Chinese
  • Demonstrated experience managing business development activities across market makers and market associations (such as bankers association, brokers association or other related associations in the field)
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in relevant data technology or financial field, or or degree-equivalent qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing C level executives in order to develop long lasting business relationships and design effective product solutions, including but not limited to the improvement of data quality
  • Comfort with a high degree of autonomy and self discipline in proactively driving strategies and managing priorities from multiple internal and external partners
  • Be a strong communicator in representing APAC’s book of business vis a vis your global counterparts, while being able to collaborate globally on shared goals

On the Incident Management team, we manage the coordination and communication for all service-impacting outages to ensure they have a minimal impact on all downstream users and are resolved as quickly as possible. We’re the central point for all stakeholders, and we ensure that accurate and timely information is communicated to everyone during significant outages. We're also responsible for Problem Management activities and help pursue root cause analysis and remediation actions to make sure our incidents don't happen again in the future.

  • Communicate and escalate with stakeholders and senior management regarding sudden outages as well as status updates on ongoing incidents
  • Quickly and accurately assess the severity of an outage in regards to business impact and technical complexity

What is the role?

You will align clients’ workflow and data consumption with the appropriate contractual framework and Bloomberg offering, protecting both our clients and our organisation. You will do this by proactively analyzing existing client profiles to understand our clients' business, workflow and ensure suitable use of our product offerings, while also mitigating business risks.

Using a highly consultative and analytical approach, you'll examine client data workflows, content licensing frameworks, and strategic initiatives, working closely with a wide variety of individuals, including but not limited to end users, senior market data managers, C-level executives, as well as internal partners including Sales, Product Managers, and Legal. With such close proximity to our clients, you will be at the forefront of being able to understand business and product gaps, providing these insights to our management to better improve our offerings.

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in the finance industry
  • Capital markets knowledge with a good understanding of buy-side & sell-side workflows for at least one asset class (eg Fixed Income, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Commodities)
  • Demonstrated experience in a role that has interacted with external clients, such as a customer support or sales role

The Creative Development team is responsible for developing the initial creative approach to all content across Bloomberg Originals platforms. Together, this team is responsible for supervising all aspects of creative development for Bloomberg Originals. We are seeking a Development Producer to conceptualize and produce presentations, digital shorts, and sizzles. This role requires sharp attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, and a passion for storytelling. 

Candidates should possess technical and creative skills and demonstrable proficiency in shooting and editing—previous experience in developing and producing unscripted content is ideal.  

We’ll trust you to: 

  • Research series ideas and flesh out concepts based on talent, articles, or IP 
  • Produce, shoot and edit projects in the development pipeline. Support other departments with content needs.  
  • Travel required for some filming 
  • Work with talent bookers, producers, and directors as needed. 
  • Collaborate with our operations team to effectively create accurate estimates for projects, manage production budgets, monitor post-production processes, and track deliverables. 
  • Identify and source third party/archival footage as needed 

You’ll need to have: 

  • 7+ years experience in unscripted/documentary television development and production 
  • Experience operating cameras, lighting equipment, audio, and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro). Can shoot and edit sizzles, rip reels and development presentations 
  • Able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers and ensure all necessary parties are kept up to date 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines  
  • A self-starter who can take direction, working both independently and collaboratively as necessary, communicating regularly and effectively development team 
  • Strong research skills and a deep understanding of what makes a compelling story 
  • Experience working with talent. Able to produce and direct talent for studio and field shoots

What’s the role? 

Bloomberg's Electronic Trading Solutions team sells various solutions for Fixed Income and FX e-trading and workflow automation, as well as work with other enterprise sales teams to cross sell Bloomberg’s entire suite of products. As an ETS Relationship Manager focusing on Fixed Income sell-side and buy-side clients, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Electronic Trading franchise across our platforms. This is primarily accomplished by building deep, value-focused relationships with clients, and engaging with them on ways they can grow and advance their business by partnering with Bloomberg for their trading, automation, and analysis needs.

Relationship Managers are expected to manage a book of clients, and to develop a deep understanding of their business, workflows and Electronic Trading needs. The goals are increasing revenue from our client base and onboarding new clients to our trading platforms.

You will need to have:

Bloomberg Originals seeks a seasoned, ambitious senior digital video producer to help grow the Asia-Pacific voice of the Bloomberg Originals' Short documentary team. We’re looking for a strong storyteller — someone who has a passion for journalism and a natural curiosity about business, politics, technology, culture, and lifestyle – and a team player who is willing to review and assist other producers in everything from scripting, interviews, shooting, through edit. This role will report into the region’s Shorts production team leader and help find best ways to craft and tell stories along with the studio’s development team.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Drive production execution on premium video content including explainer-style segments and short documentaries (conceptualization, storyboarding, outlining, production, edit & delivery) working with a variety of source footage and motion graphics
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced studio environment while juggling multiple active projects at once
  • Build shot sheets, coordinate field production and receive the footage from shoots (the producer will drive this initiative, but will need backup/oversight from you when called upon)
  • Gain an understanding of newsroom initiatives and use knowledge of those campaigns to bring fresh and unique story ideas to the table for short documentary and series development
  • Run creative production meetings for greenlit pitches, series and campaigns alongside team leader
  • Review publish copy attached to videos from web headlines/descriptions to social language.

What’s the role?
