Responsibilities:

  • Development, production, and analysis of financial and management reports pertaining to projects.
  • Preparation of financial analysis to facilitate management decision making.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Group Head of IA, the Head of Business Audit, is responsible to provide independent assurance services to the Group with a primary focus in HKEX’s businesses and operations. Job Requirements:

  • 20 years of experience in audit, risk and control leadership roles with exposure in managing audit methodology and innovation.

  • Possess at least one relevant professional qualification e.g. a CPA, CFA, CA, CIA, CISA, CISM or FRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Special focus on Institutional Buyside (Asset Owner, Long Only, Hedge and Quant Funds) to create and drive targeted, integrated and effective client engagement plans & revenue generating campaigns aligned with business goals and strategies of SMD and HKEX more broadly.

  • Core area of focus in equity and multi-asset driving strategic initiatives and support the sales & distribution effort with respect to institutional and/or retail channels
  • Additional experience in Fixed income, FX, Money Markets, CIBM Direct, QFII or Mutual Recognition and WOFE structures is a bonus

Job Summary:

Quantitative Risk Management is responsible for providing risk governance to all the relevant first line teams across all HKEX group functions on initiatives such as new product/service launch, methodology changes and model parameter reviews. The team is also tasked with the model validation exercise for the group to ensure its ongoing adherence to all the relevant regulations, policies and group risk appetite.

Quantitative Risk Management is also responsible for leading the efforts in new risk management initiatives such as policy/risk appetite reviews, group level financial risk data management and risk analytics and other group risk management related projects for continued enhancements of its risk management capabilities.

This is a team lead position overseeing the Model Risk team within the Quantitative Risk Management department. The role will undertake/oversee validation activities of quantitative models and methodologies used across HKEX group functions. Working closely with the rest of the Group Risk teams to provide appropriate expert second line challenge on the various risk types - market, credit, model and liquidity - that the HKEX as a group is exposed to, and to ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting of the compliance of the first line activities against both group and local risk appetite and policies.

 

Job Duties:

  • Lead and oversee a team of model validation experts in conducting routine validation exercises across the organisation.
  • Implement and manage the model risk governance framework, ensuring its adoption across all organisational functions in line with the engagement plan.
  • Conduct annual reviews of methodologies to align with Risk Appetite Statements (RAS), policies, regulations, and industry standards. Monitor and report on first-line risk team's actions.
  • Ensure compliance through daily and periodic reporting of first-line activities, including escalation of issues to senior management and relevant risk committees.

The incumbent will work in the area of Development & Support for HKEX post trade application systems, and lead a team responsible for the related architecture design, development, implementation and production support, as well as work across related business and operations stakeholders achieving common business results.

  • Lead and manage all phases of application road map, architecture design and life cycle for post-trade application systems, and carry out review of associated deliverables and evolution in adherence to standards and policies

Job Summary:

The Financial Reporting team is responsible for the Group's external financial reporting, regulatory reports, and tax planning and compliance. It sets the Group's policies for accounting, transfer pricing as well as internal financial controls. It also manages the day-to-day accounting operations relating to finance systems, fixed assets, payments, billing, and credit control.

 

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to Head of Management Reporting and direct reports.

  • To manage the receipt and dispatch of incoming and outgoing mails, internal distributions and other correspondence.

  • To assist in keeping the various sets of HKEX rules updated and in maintaining version control in rule submission.

  • To assist in preparing routine correspondence and circulars on rule amendments.

  • To undertake special or ad hoc projects and other clerical tasks that may be assigned by the Department Head.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder of any discipline

  • 3 to 6 years relevant secretarial and/or administrative experience, preferably in Finance Departments of well-established financial institutions

  • Well-organized, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadline

  • Good team player, with good interpersonal and communications skills

  • Proactive and eager to learn

  • Able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Adept at Microsoft Office suite is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the application teams on IT solution configuration and review.

  • Interact with internal and external parties on planning and execution.

  • Play a role in incident and problem management such as impact assessments, troubleshooting and remediation and prevention.

  • Compile operation and technical documents such as knowledge base, technical procedures and test reports.

  • Automation of server operations.

  • Protect systems reliability.

  • Familiarity with Automation practices and tools (Ansible).

  • Experience of managing change implementation on large scale systems.

4. Possess good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a strong sense of responsibility

5. Able to work independently and attentive to details.

6. The position can be based in Shenzhen (preferably) or Shanghai. Travel within the PRC may be required.
