Develop competitive freight forwarding solutions with regional/country sales, procurement and operations teams for global/regional key accounts
Work on cost modeling and ensure pricing reviewed with procurement, sales and MD as appropriate for qualified business opportunity
Coordinate with regional stakeholders and country Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop technical and profession customer proposals accurately
Conduct market research, develop compelling value proposition, track metrics and leverage customer relationships
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as IT, Operations, Key Account Management, Procurement, Finance etc. to ensure seamless implementation of awarded solutions
Track and monitor the performance of implemented business ensuring operations compliance, customer satisfaction and profitability and provide regular update to senior management
Lead global initiatives of process standardization and continuous process improvement for deployment in regions and countries
Drive system standardization initiatives to achieve a smooth system integration in the network
Requirements
Degree holder in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years solid experience in transportation solutions, tender/pricing, key account management experience or, project management in freight forwarding industry
With customer, or system project implementation experiences is a plus
Solid understanding of global logistics and value-added supply chain solutions
Strong analytical skills, structured thinking ability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders/working partners of different countries/regions, backgrounds, cultures and roles
Detail-minded, results driven and high degree of accountability
Strong business acumen, agile in change management and able to perform under pressure
Good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge to CargoWise, SAP or TRAX systems is a plus
