Your role

Are you a trader who is savvy about risk? Do your analytic and interpersonal skills help you figure out the value of a trade idea? We’re looking for someone who can

• market make in Emerging Market Interest Rates, Cross-currency derivatives and cash products.
• manage and work closely with a team of local markets Rates traders.
• work closely with sales teams and clients, to provide trade ideas, market commentary and content to generate revenue and grow client business
• facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity through internal capital or accessing third-party offerings
• follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
• manage broad range of risk, including but not limited to trading, execution, operational and compliance risk (you’re experienced enough to be well aware of the risks)

Your team

You’ll be joining the Global Markets Derivatives & Solutions franchise, in the Macro Trading team, based either in Singapore or Hong Kong. We trade a range of FX/interest rate products across the emerging markets, and provide advice, solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way.

Your expertise

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or other quantitative fields
• minimum 7 years of experience in Global Markets
• know-how to price and trade own book of Emerging Market Local Rates products
• proven track record of managing a team of macro traders and grow client franchise
• proficiency to build analysis spreadsheets for trade strategies
• interest rate analysis and modelling skills, with an ability to communicate trading ideas clearly
