HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is accountable for the full spectrum of human resources & office administration management of HKTB, covering both the Head Office and Worldwide Offices. To direct and lead the smooth implementation of human resources strategies; to be a key partner of the leadership team in the creation and implementation of various HR initiatives; to establish HKTB as an employer of choice and retain the best market talents. This role will also lead and direct the office administration function towards a client-oriented and value-added approach.
- Partner with the leadership team to initiate, articulate and amplify the values, culture and objectives of the organisation through the execution of various HR initiatives
- Provide advice to the leadership team and worldwide office heads on changes in organisation structure / optimal deployment of resources/appointment of key positions in support of business needs
- Ensure an optimal structure of Head Office and Worldwide Offices for achieving the business objectives of HKTB while at the same time providing an environment for employees for continuous growth
- Review, implement and monitor the manpower planning process for identifying changes in manpower needs and taking pro-active actions to address the fluctuation in manpower demands, both in terms of quality and quantity
- Ensure the performance management system is effective in driving for performance-driven culture, and continually raising its capability in people development
- Formulate, direct and monitor the training and development policies for HKTB, including and prioritising the training needs, allocation of resources, and leading the implementation of training and development programs
- Improve the effectiveness of internal communications, lead and drive the execution of employee relations programs to enhance staff engagement
- Regular review and ensure the HKTB is compliant with legislation in all offices around the world
- Direct and lead the Administration Team towards a customer-oriented and value-added approach. Ensure effective administration and logistic support to the whole of HKTB through methodical strategies
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Wide range and diverse knowledge in human resources management with solid experience in multinational operating environment, culturally sensitive and have a good knowledge of different employment rules and practices in different countries
- Experienced people leader, with proven record in strategic HR planning and change management
- Good understanding of general office administration operations & best practices
- Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and influencing skills. Ability to communicate effectively from board members to non-management staff members
- Good judgement and problem-solving skills, able to balance the interests of the organisation and employees
- Strategic and big picture thinking
- With integrity and a strong sense of corporate governance
- Exposure in sub-vented operating environment is an advantage but not a must
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
