Review and develop detailed design, construction plans and programmes as well as tender documents for new railway projects
Lead a team of Programming Engineers to assess tender submissions and review contractor’s programmes as well as monitor progress against programme
Prepare regular progress reports, conduct delay analyses and develop measures to address programming issues for timely project completion
Perform forensic delay assessment and conduct quantitative schedule risk analysis
Implement digital processes and systems for contemporaneous time management and earned value management
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in major construction projects and methodologies, planning and programming, of which 4 years should be at managerial level
Construction experience in railway or other major infrastructure projects is an advantage
Fully conversant with programming techniques and hands-on experience in the application of programming software, preferably Primavera P6
Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution and qualification with relevant experience in NEC Project Management are preferred
