Senior Programming Manager- Civil

Responsibilities

• Review and develop detailed design, construction plans and programmes as well as tender documents for new railway projects
• Lead a team of Programming Engineers to assess tender submissions and review contractor’s programmes as well as monitor progress against programme
• Prepare regular progress reports, conduct delay analyses and develop measures to address programming issues for timely project completion
• Perform forensic delay assessment and conduct quantitative schedule risk analysis
• Implement digital processes and systems for contemporaneous time management and earned value management

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in major construction projects and methodologies, planning and programming, of which 4 years should be at managerial level
• Construction experience in railway or other major infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Fully conversant with programming techniques and hands-on experience in the application of programming software, preferably Primavera P6
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution and qualification with relevant experience in NEC Project Management are preferred

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
