Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities
- Supervise a maintenance team for implementing improvement works of trainborne signal, trackside signal, rolling stock, Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and telecommunication electronic equipment, to deliver a reliable workshop service on electronic equipment for rolling stock, station and infrastructure electronic systems
- Take an important role in the asset management activities in Central Electronic Workshop including carrying out asset replacement studies, asset life assurance studies and holistic review of various systems, and implementing refurbishment / replacement of exhausted electronic equipment under asset life assurance projects
- Review, identify areas of improvements and make improvement proposals on the process of asset management activities such as asset condition assessments and asset life assurance studies
- Provide technical support on the maintenance activities of trainborne signal, trackside signal, rolling stock, AFC and telecommunication electronic equipment in areas such as introducing new testing method or testing facilities to enhance the maintenance efficiency and capabilities, and sourcing of alternatives for obsolete components
- Work closely with partners from depots, station maintenance and Infrastructure Maintenance Department to ensure the performance of the electronic system and propose improvements in the maintenance regime
- Support fault investigation, identify the root cause, and propose remedial actions
- Supervise the contractor working, as well as the term labour working in Central Electronic Workshop
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
- Self-motivated, with good analytical and interpersonal skills
Remarks
- Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered
- Work offshore to support the Corporation’s growth business when needed
- Required to perform shift duties on irregular patterns of hours
Senior Programming Manager- Civil
Responsibilities
- Review and develop detailed design, construction plans and programmes as well as tender documents for new railway projects
- Lead a team of Programming Engineers to assess tender submissions and review contractor’s programmes as well as monitor progress against programme
- Prepare regular progress reports, conduct delay analyses and develop measures to address programming issues for timely project completion
- Perform forensic delay assessment and conduct quantitative schedule risk analysis
- Implement digital processes and systems for contemporaneous time management and earned value management
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in major construction projects and methodologies, planning and programming, of which 4 years should be at managerial level
- Construction experience in railway or other major infrastructure projects is an advantage
- Fully conversant with programming techniques and hands-on experience in the application of programming software, preferably Primavera P6
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution and qualification with relevant experience in NEC Project Management are preferred

Manager – Customer Experience Enhancement
Responsibilities
- Propose customer service strategy, design, develop and manage the execution and delivery of customer experience enhancement projects with different stakeholders
- Perform a leading role in driving the execution of service improvement initiatives to enhance the end-to-end MTR customer journey for different customer segments
- Collaborate and liaise with different stakeholders to drive customer centric culture across all levels in the Corporation
- Monitor the budget and costs of enhancement projects
- Support and share good practices with overseas hubs in the development of customer experience strategy and initiatives to ensure consistency of corporate practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Degree in Customer Service / Marketing / Communications or a related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at managerial level
- Experience in operations management or marketing communications is preferred
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, planning and organisation skills with abilities to manage and collaborate with different stakeholders
- Strong project management and planning skills
Talent Management Assistant
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support on talent assessment and development programmes, including graduate recruitment, maintain updated talent profiles and compile statistics
- Assist to coordinate career discussions, arrange engagement activities for leadership pipeline members
- Perform other administrative works when required
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year’s experience; OR
- Grade E / Level 2 / “Attained” or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE, including Chinese and English Languages, with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
- Meticulous team player with positive attitude and the ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with good sense of judgment and sensitivity
- Hands-on experience in software applications such as Chinese and English word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage

Assistant Shopping Centre Officer-Security
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and secure environment for customers by patrolling and surveilling in the shopping centres and investment properties managed by the Corporation
- Participate in daily pre-work briefing and provide training to contractors
- Handle incoming call and enquiry in a professional manner
- Monitor systems in Security Control Room and maintain close communication with different departments
- Monitor and report any incidents, suspicious activities and irregularities at the premises
Requirements
- Grade E / Level 2 / “Attained” or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE or equivalent, including English and Chinese Languages with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience; OR
- Completed Form 5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
- Possession of a valid Security Personnel Permit in Category A and B, and Certificate of Quality Assurance System Course
- Solid experience in Security supervising operational staff and liaising with customers as well as operating Security System (e.g., CCTV)
- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese, and basic spoken English
- Experience in and knowledge of security control room operations are preferred
- Possession of relevant qualifications is an advantage, e.g. first aid, Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate etc.
