We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Cash Equities Settlement - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Analyst– C09) based in Hong Kong. In this role, you’re expected to:

Responsible for pre-matching / trade settlements in Global markets, main focus on APAC Stock Borrowing & Lending operations for various CGM entities
Liaise with agent banks, brokers, CGM sales & trading desks, customer’s operations team and other CGM offices to follow up any potential fails prior to settlement date
Handle APAC underlying ADR/GDR stock conversion
Follow up unmatched items to resolution as to avoid any failure or buy-in for Asia Pacific markets domestic transactions
Prepare / Verify adhoc / manual instructions for exceptional items to our agent banks for Asia Pacific markets

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

Relevant experience preferred
Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
Demonstrated knowledge of macros
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance
