Officer (Payment Systems)

崗位職責

1. Monitor the operation and payment flow of payment systems in Hong Kong and their system linkages with other financial market infrastructures to ensure their smooth and efficient operations.

2. Assist supervisors in providing solid technical support in payment systems development and enhancement projects, including user requirements pr。eparation, functional specifications review and implementation of user acceptance test.

3. Assist supervisors in documentation, membership management, contingency procedures and risk management of payment systems in Hong Kong for compliance with relevant international standards or regulations.

4. Assist supervisor in maintaining payment systems database, developing and preparing analytical reports to facilitate intra-day liquidity monitoring, risk management, management and regulatory reporting.

5. Assist supervisor in supporting research support for the latest global development of key financial market infrastructures.

6. Provide administrative and coordination support.

崗位要求

1. University degree or equivalent.

2. At least 2 years’ relevant working experience.

3. Knowledge in local and overseas operation of payment and debt securities settlement systems an advantage

4. Good interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua a plus

5. Well-versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Visual Basic or equivalent.

6. Need to work in shifts, including outside normal office hours and Hong Kong general public holidays as required

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Assistant Officer level.)
