Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Manager Trainee (2024 intakes)

The HKMA operates a two-year Manager Trainee (MT) Programme.
An MT will undergo on-the-job training in two to three different posts responsible for central banking work, covering both monetary and banking areas.
On completion of the Programme and subject to satisfactory performance, an MT will be appointed as a Manager.
There is flexibility of further job rotation after appointment to widen one’s exposure and horizon for long-term career development in central banking.

Officer (Retail Payment Oversight)
Key Responsibilities
Handle complaints and enquiry received by the HKMA on matters relating to the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance, such as but not limited to stored value facility (SVF) licensees and operators of designated
Implement the operating system development and enhancement of the complaints and enquiries handling through in-house operating system, the HKMA’s website, e-complaint form, etc.
