The Consumer Markets (CM) practice of PwC Strategy& provides advisory services to both MNC and local champions, around a few clusters such as Food & Beverage, Mother & Baby Care, etc. We have deep and strong functional expertise in Revenue-Growth-Management, Route-To-Market and Digital underpinned by Data & Analytics, with tailored solutions to help drive value and embed capabilities for our clients.

We have a dedicated and experienced team of strategy consultants based mainly in Shanghai and Beijing.

Job Description – Manager:

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Strategy& Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Playing a critical role in delivering expertise/thought leadership on consumer topics and in bringing this to the clients
• Leading the engagement team to provide high quality business insights and recommendations
• Managing the project execution and delivery, making sure the project is delivered within the agreed/guaranteed timeline and budget
• Proactively identifying likely issues that could impact delivery and leveraging Strategy& and wider PwC network support as required
• Involving in developing our solution offerings, and marketing to external and internal clients
• Assisting in developing training, engagement procedures and methodologies
• Coaching and developing staff

 

Requirements:

• Strong academic background
• 5+years of strategy consulting experience, preferably in Consumer & Retail sector
• Project management experience
• Intellectual curiosity and rigor
• Influencing skills and leadership
• Self-driven
• Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin (speaking/reading/writing)
• Advanced data & analytics expertise is a great plus

 

Job Description – Senior Associate:

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Strategy& Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Helping your managers on pre-sales activities, engagement delivery, clients’ requirement gathering & analysis, and act as clients’ on-ground contact
• Leading a module, including business analysis and recommendation development
• Assisting project process management
• Documentation delivery

 

Requirements:

• Strong academic background
• 3-4 years of consulting experiences, preferably in Consumer & Retail sector; Or >=4 years of experiences in consumer and retail industry, preferably as Management Trainees in MNC; Or 3-4 years of business analyst experience in internet companies, preferably with a focus on consumer goods
• Experienced in advanced data & analytics
• Self driven
• Intellectual curiosity and rigor
• Excellent teamwork and inter-personal skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
