Assist in managing and overseeing the digitalisation projects of the Banking Conduct Department of the HKMA
Coordinate and assist in exploring and exploiting technologies, such as big data analytics, machine learning, network analytics and natural language processing, to achieve more efficient and effective supervisory processes
Collaborate with internal and external parties, such as technologists, academia and other regulators, to derive suitable Suptech solutions
Identify and analyse business needs and challenges, and translate them into functional requirements for project implementation
Partner with internal technology teams and external technology vendors to deliver products for serving the banking industry and internal HKMA users
Accountable for each stage of development process and the final product, help drive the product decisions to align with organisation-level initiatives
Requirements
University degree, preferably in information systems, software engineering, computer sciences or related fields
At least 3 years of experience in project, technology, IT operations, business transformation / re-engineering. Experience in banking or securities an advantage
Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope. Relevant consulting experience highly preferred
Hands-on experience in project management, system engineering, hardware engineering, technical product / program management preferred
Knowledge of banking business and regulatory compliance an advantage
Demonstrated experience delivering technical programmes or products from inception to delivery preferred
Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills; self-motivated, creative and with proven track record in developing and driving firm-wide initiatives
Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills
Conditions of service
Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
