• support the business management team to oversee the business front to back operating environment:
execute and organize key business initiatives
help enable financial outcomes
implement and monitor the front office control environment
• drive work streams to minimize operational risk, achieve a high level of performance, operational effectiveness and value-add
• support to identify, evaluate and mitigate risks, adhering to regulatory and operational risk standards
• partner with team members and other Chief Operating Officer (COO) teams, both locally and globally, to manage implementation of key projects and initiatives including business driven changes, regulatory, audit and risk remediation activities
• monitoring and analysis of financial performance
• coordinate supporting units and managing relationships with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Finance and Risk Controlling teams
Your team
You’ll be working in the APAC Financing business management team. You’ll be based in Hong Kong and responsible for Business Management of the Financing business within Global Markets, which includes Prime Financing, Securities Lending & Financing and Clearing businesses. Our team ensures that the business operates effectively to maximize profits while managing risks and being compliant with regulations and policies.
Your expertise
• over 3 years of experience within Global Markets, Equities or Exchange Traded Derivatives
• knowledge of front to back processes in a Equities or Financing business
• preferred Equities product background with exposure to Financing products
• ability to work with stakeholders and team members across all areas of the bank
• good at building networks of contacts across the business, logistics and control functions
• ability to understand new issues and business processes quickly
• excellent analytical and presentation skills; proficiency in Excel, Power Point
• strong technical and automation skills
• comfortable at working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• strong focus, drive and commitment and track record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard
