Senior Officer (External Managers)

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Senior Officer (External Managers)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the fixed income team to manage external managers and investment portfolios
• Monitor and analyse performance and developments of external managers
• Research investment proposals, investment products and asset classes
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Assist fund accounting and record keeping
• Collaborate with internal departments such as internal audit, risk management and compliance, finance and settlement, and external parties
• Support the HKMA’s digitalization initiatives such as data management and data analytics
• Provide administrative support when required

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in finance, economics, business administration or related fields
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of financial markets and products
• Good organization, communication and writing skills; proficiency in Excel
• Coding skill an advantage
