Electronic Trading Specialist

CICC electronic trading business in HK consolidates firm’s algorithmic trade execution in multiple equities markets. The team consists of product manager, data analyst and technical support specialists primarily focused on site reliability engineering, including driving automation, improving real-time monitoring, developing metrics to track performance, and managing the release and deployment lifecycle.

The position will partner with sales trading team to develop and support the execution services for the firm and its clients. The position will also involve in the development of the business relationship with assigned institutional accounts for electronic trading service. The duties and responsibilities he/she is going to take this job include, but not limited to:

• Reach out proactively and advise clients on electronic trading investment opportunities

• Maintain and build the business relationship with assigned institutional accounts for electronic trading business

• Market CICC electronic trading platform to clients and promote its brand

• Support the day-to-day operations of the electronic trading systems and the trading business

• Perform operational risk management of a complex, fast-moving, multi-asset e-Dealing business

• Work closely with Electronic Traders, data and tech teams and timely share comments from accounts

• Significantly interact in a professional business manner across Sales & Trading team and external clients

Knowledge

• Knowledge regarding trade execution, trading systems, and algorithmic strategies including Algorithmic Trading, DMA, TCA

• Working knowledge of python and excel

• Good market sense and in-depth knowledge in capital market and financial risk

• Good understanding of FIX protocol, electronic trading and algorithmic trading

• Knowledge in developing trade report related to various benchmarks

• Knowledgeable in securities settlement & clearing

• Understand institutional clients’ investment behavior and orientation Skills and Abilities

• Upright, humble, diligent with high moral values

• Customer-oriented mentality

• Fluent in trading technology and trading algorithms

• Proficient in Mandarin and English

• Detail-oriented, quick-minded and quick-handed to new systems and technologies

• Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Solid electronic sales trading experience on APAC markets in the Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or Exchange, preferably with experience promoting electronic trading platforms

• Ability to introduce new clients, increasing the market shares and boosting the revenues from current accounts will be a plus

• At least 1 years of full lifecycle experience in electronic trading or sales trading

• Bachelor degree or above, majored in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
