Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and monitor the ongoing development of the Trade Repository (TR) in Hong Kong based on detailed reviews and analyses of the relevant regulatory requirements, industry participants' demands and practices, and evolving international standards
- Liaise and coordinate with system developers, business partners and other vendors in developing, implementing and testing the TR system
- Assist in developing and preparing business and functional design, test plan & test cases and documentation for the TR and the associated Trade Repository Management Information System (TRMIS)
- Communicate and coordinate with local / overseas regulatory bodies, market participants and other market infrastructure in relation to the exchange of information and sharing of TR data according to established protocol and procedure
- Participate in and advise on the further developments of the TR system in the light of evolving local and international requirements
- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the TR system
Requirements
- University degree in banking, finance, statistics, computer science or related fields. Relevant advanced degree or professional qualification a definite advantage
- At least three years of relevant experience in the banking / financial industry or regulatory field, with focus on OTC derivatives products
- Strong working knowledge of international regulatory requirements and operational practices relating to OTC derivatives products, and familiarity with TR
- Good understanding of the operation of financial markets with good knowledge of OTC derivatives, complex financial products and requirements on ISO 20022 a plus
- Good analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills
