HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Design, develop, implement & support various Client/Server and Web based application systems to facilitate information sharing, business operations & performance monitoring, as well as the digital transformation journey for the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
  • Understand and translate internal users’ needs into implementable application system solutions to enable long-term business success.
  • Manage and deliver VoIP project, supporting the deploying of SIP phones and integrated with Microsoft Teams Voice.
  • Lead new application projects as a project manager by interacting with business users and vendors on user requirement collection, system design, implementation plan, user acceptance, integration tests, training, and documentation.
  • Facilitate and report project progress on schedule, scope, cost, issues, risks and resources.
  • Assist in product comparison and cost-benefit for proposed solutions to aid management in making implementation decisions.
  • Perform proof-of-concept testing on different SaaS applications.
  • Assist in preparing the project tender documents and execution of the tender process.
  • Responsible for renewing system licences and maintenance support contracts.
  • Perform operation support to business users and IT Helpdesk on different applications – SugarCRM, NetSuite, Synology, Digital Asset Library, LMS.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines, with preferably at least 6 years of IT project management experience in digital platform development, implementation and support.
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Teams Voice implementation, SIP phone deployment and SaaS application integration advantageous.
  • Project management certification such as PMP®, ScrumMaster®, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.
  • Able to work independently, creatively and analytically demonstrating complex problem-solving skills, with strong organisational skills to manage projects and system support and maintenance, as well as multiple deadlines.
  • Passionate about upkeeping with the latest technology and digital transformation trends, and to work in challenging and dynamic environments driven by ad-hoc projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, culturally sensitive; able to work as a team effectively, and influence others, internally and externally, for positive results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, for effective communication with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
