1. Ensure compliance with the operational risk and control management framework according to HSBC Group guidance.

2. Maintain finance internal control standards, including monitoring of assurance review findings, internal and external audit issues together with any issues raised by external regulators.

3. Support the execution of Risk and Control Assessments of in-scope Non-Financial Risk (NFR). Ensure that appropriate operational risk and control identification and assessment is undertaken for Finance and on a timely basis.

8. Support risk owners in performing the NFR assessment for transformation projects and involve in major change initiatives impacting HASE to provide SME advice on Operational Risk and Control related matters.

9. Act as a conduit for responding to control issues raised within Finance.

Principal responsibilities

Senior Development Specialist (Google Lead)

1. Work closely with Hang Seng Global Business / Global Functions Cloud Champions, DevOps teams, Cyber Security, Architecture, IT Risk, etc. to drive for successful project execution on Google platform in a time to market, secure-by-design and compliant with mandatory policy and security standards manner.

2. Align with developers the best practices, processes and essential standards.

3. Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community.

4. Provide initial feedback and review on system design.

5. Maintain pipeline for all Hang Seng Google workloads.

6. Communicate with HSBC Asia Pacific Global Cloud Services team and Google Cloud Community on any issues identified, knowledge sharing, etc.

7. Keep up to speed and promote the latest trainings and certifications, and designs and maintains customized programs.

8. Drive Google Cloud adoption roadmap for Hang Seng.

9. Consolidate, develop and promote the reuse of common patterns for Google in Hang Seng.

10. Provide Management reporting to ensure data driven discussions for continuous improvement.

1. Minimum 10-15 years of working experience in development and support of banking applications.

2. A bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, or Information Technology related discipline.

3. Industry recognized Cloud Certifications.

4. Solid experience of building a range of Services in Google.

5. Good understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code concepts and techniques, CI and CD pipeline implementation on multiple technology stacks.

6. Knowledge on Security and Compliance such IAM and Cloud compliance, auditing and monitoring tools.

8. Demonstrable risk management knowledge.

Hang Seng’s Corporate Communications Department formulates and executes compelling communications programmes that promote the Bank’s corporate image, products and services. It monitors public opinions about the Bank and ensures important messages are conveyed in a timely and effective manner. The Department also helps safeguard Hang Seng’s brand and position as the leading domestic bank in Hong Kong by advising on reputational matters and strengthening relationships with its stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Corporate Communications Department as External Communications Officer.

 

The External Communications Officer is expected to support the execution of strategic External Communications plan for the Bank. The role holder will also support the daily operations of the team, while ensuring all internal infrastructure is in place for effective communications. 

Principal responsibilities

Operational Management and Corporate Content

  • Manage the information depository and distribution list for Corporate Communications
  • Update, keep track and maintain corporate materials and literature
  • Support the team on cost and budget control

Media and External Communications

  • Research on external opportunities to build brand and awareness of the Bank
  • Support the team in campaign execution, including logistic arrangement of media and corporate events
  • Support the management of media and vendor relationships
  • Lead media and social monitoring and generate daily report with the support of other team members
  • Manage and update media lists. Build media database and keep track on our media relations
  • Manage media coverage report and keep track on spokesperson’s relevant activities

Requirements
